THANK YOU AROSA, THX TO ALL ATHLETES
Thank you all for an OCR HIGH ALPINE ADVENTURE in the Swiss mountains. At the end of the day it is you who make this race an OCR event in nature, an OCR X-TRAIL with mostly obstacles that fit into the nature, no metal frames, minimal plastic, just obstacles that we build out of wood and hemp and also with local materials.
You have surely noticed, for us nature plays an important role – both in Molveno and in Arosa, to incorporate as many elements of the existing geography as possible, waterfalls, lakes, trails, creeks, and if possible in tree areas to build our hanging obstacles.
Weather-wise we were lucky with a sunny Arosa on Saturday with the X-LITE, the Sunday X-FULL was a rain battle, but that’s part of it – and whoever went through it, respect, and in the end it has its charm. You have noticed, so we sometimes have to adjust sections of the route, partly overnight but count on it, we make the maximum possible.
Enclosed again the RESULTS from Arosa and here again, now correctly, the link to the PICS with the corresponding CODE > XArosa23 for the 2-step authorization, which was also new for us.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Next it is MOLVENO is calling again. On May 18/19 you are welcome at the Italian OCR in Paradies at Lake Molveno. In August 2024 again in Arosa/Switzerland – the exact date will be this year’s, or one week earlier – we will keep you informed. Beside the X-LITE as well as the X-FULL Race, Competitive vs Non-Competitive, there will be an own 2024 OCR SWISS CHAMPIONSHIP classification within the X-FULL/competitive. As a partner of the Swiss Obstacle Sports Federation we are happy about this partnership, more soon.
Regsitrations will open on October 1, 2023 with an Early Bird ticket. New obstacles are in planning, including a Tripple Half Pipe, a Monster Cube, a Sloping Wall and whatever else we can think of.
